Business Systems Audit

The Business Systems Audit identifies the presence or absence of a number of manual or computer-based systems that significantly contribute to the performance of supervisory management personnel, and the success of the company.

Where a management system is present, the acceptability of that system is evaluated. Where a management system is absent, the desirability of that system is assessed.

The purpose of the Management Systems Audit is to provide information for further discussion, review and decision, rather than for drawing specific and immediate conclusions regarding system performance.

The management systems reviewed are:

  • Finance and Accounting

  • Strategic Planning

  • Quality Assurance

  • Productivity

  • Communication

  • Sales/Marketing

  • Materials Management

  • Human Resources
